     script.c hunks, and the scm.c and scm.h hunks that go with them; 5f5
     carries equivalent fixes upstream
   * fix-implicit-decl-init.patch, disable-bigrecy.patch: refresh
   * update debian/watch to v5
   * debian/watch: verify upstream OpenPGP signature, with
     debian/upstream/signing-key.asc
   * bump debhelper compat level to 14
   * drop ${misc:Depends} and ${shlibs:Depends}, added automatically in
     debhelper compat 14
   * drop Rules-Requires-Root, "no" is the dpkg default since 1.22.13
   * drop source stanza Priority, "optional" is the default (policy 4.7.3)
   * Standards-Version: 4.7.4
   * debian/rules: build with -std=gnu17; upstream uses K&R function
     definitions and unprototyped function pointers, which C23 (the GCC
     default since 15) rejects (fixes FTBFS with GCC 15 and later)

   * debian/upstream/metadata: new
   * debian/README.source: document the packaging workflow
